Tailormade software
Beside consultancy services, Jintec also engages in tailor-made software application development, taking full ownership of a project from start (business analysis) to end (delivery and knowledge transfer).
Projects can be executed in either “fixed price” or “time and material” mode. Whichever mode the customer chooses, our methodological approach allows for transparency, clear deliverables and guarantees budget and time control.
If desired, Jintec can also guarantee continuity of the delivered project, by means of periodic maintenance contracts.
Co-sourcing
Co-Sourcing means that a well-defined part of the project will be executed by the customer, while some other specific (typically technological) tasks become the responsibility of Jintec.
Working in co-sourcing mode implies that both the customer and Jintec are partially responsible for the final project result.
Co-sourcing is typically done in situations where the customer has a very specific core business and needs to stay the owner of the software project and especially the knowledge. On the other hand, the customer does not possess the necessary (technical) skills to realize the software project on its own.
This is where Jintec comes in: together with the customer, we will first make an assessment of the project’s objectives and discuss the best way to organize and plan it.
This will result in a set of well-defined tasks and responsibilities (SLA) after which the project will be planned in detail and finally executed. Typically, Jintec will take the responsibility of the more technical tasks, such as design and development. At the end of the project, a knowledge transfer (possibly by means of training) is organized.
